When I selected this piece, it looked good in the thumbnail, however in person, it is very loud. It has a beautiful green field with different shades of green and other colors, which are very pleasing. However, the "horizon" features scribbles in different colors that like like a child took crayons to a perfectly good painting. Not at all what I expected.
I hung my image in the bedroom

We bought this canvas to go over our fireplace in a bright and open MCM family room. You have to have a childish spirit to enjoy this particular piece, but we had no idea how much fun we'd have just looking at it!... It is much brighter in person and to be honest, half the people who look at it - immediately see Shrek's butt crack! (Haha!) Others see everything from landscapes to martini glasses; regardless, it accomplished exactly what we wanted. Shifting Sand helped to make our space inviting, joyful, and full of conversation!

I have ordered several pieces of artwork from Gallery Direct and have been pleased with all of them but I love this piece by Sean Jacobs the best. I like it so much I had ordered one in the brown tones for a bedroom and just purchased this one for my kitchen. I highly recommend this piece of art.
