I must, unfortunately, agree with the first reviewer (from Philadelphia) who stated that this painting is not true to the colors presented on your website. I read this warning before purchasing; however, since I already have another painting by Maeve Harris (Overture I) and it is true to the colors presented, I thought that the original reviewer must have had her computer screen colors not set up properly. But, this is not the case. The colors of the painting which arrived are very powerful and overbearing (there is so much “dirty” ocean blue – which I do not like in this composition, also the red is very strong); however, these colors are presented on the website as gentle, very different. I wonder which one is true: 1. the Gallery Direct website has a photo which does not properly reflect the original colors; or 2. the colors used in printing are not being chosen properly. Please Gallery Direct – for the benefit of the future buyers – correct one or the other. Thank you!

We needed something small for our den that would not over-power our other pictures and this was perfect. The colors are warm and pretty and it is very pleasant to look at.

Not a Chance
Absolutely
The quality of the framing and canvas were fine, but the colors were very different than what was presented on the website. If you do not mind that the colors are different than the on the website, you should not mind this painting.
