Absolutely
While it may seem a bit cliche' to put this in the kitchen, it works quite well giving the room some nice pop, color and depth since the wall and tile colors are a bit neutral. And it doesn't hurt that it has some favorites as well, especially since I'm a big fan of great wine, cheeses and bread. Looks like my kitchen table at times! Would probably work in other settings just as well where some pop is needed.
